Intelligink LLC (the “Company”) respects the privacy concerns of the users of its website, https://intelligink.com and the services provided therein (the “Site”). The Company thus provides this privacy statement to explain what information is gathered during a visit to the Site and how such information may be used.
Use of Information
As a general policy, no personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, or e-mail address, is automatically collected from your visit to the Site. However, certain non-personal information is recorded by the standard operation of the Company’s internet servers. Information such as the type of browser being used, its operating system, and your IP address is gathered in order to enhance your online experience.
The Site’s various mailing lists, downloads, special offers, registration forms, and surveys may request that you give us contact information such as your name and e-mail address, demographic information such as your age and gender, and personal preference information such as your preferred software and interests. Information submitted at the time of submission will be used by the Company only as necessary for our legitimate business interests, including without limitation the improvement of our products, services and the contents of the Site. Personally identifiable information is never sold or leased to any third parties. With your permission, we may use your contact information to send you information about our company and products. You may always opt-out of receiving future mailings using the instructions provided in every email. The Company does not store any credit card information it may receive in regard to a specific transaction and/or billing arrangement except as necessary to complete and satisfy its rights and obligations with regard to such transaction, billing arrangement, and/or as otherwise authorized by a user.
The Company may disclose user information in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference (either intentionally or unintentionally) with the Company’s rights or property, other users of the Site, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.
How Your Information Is Used
The Site is built using Hugo, a static site generator, and is hosted on Microsoft Azure. The Site uses the following third-party services:
- Microsoft Azure — Hosts the website and serves content via Azure CDN.
- Microsoft Teams Phone — Carries the SMS text messages we exchange with clients and business contacts. See SMS Text Messaging below.
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — Delivers email marketing and newsletters. When you subscribe to our mailing list, your name and email address are stored in Kit.
- RightMessage — Personalizes website content based on visitor behavior and segments. RightMessage may set cookies to identify returning visitors and tailor content accordingly.
- SavvyCal — Powers our meeting scheduling. When you book a meeting through the Site, SavvyCal collects your name, email address, and any additional information you provide during the booking process.
- Jotform — Powers our contact form and our text message opt-in form. When you submit the contact form on the Site, Jotform collects your name, email address, and message contents, which are then delivered to Company employees so we can respond to your inquiry. When you submit the text message opt-in form, Jotform also collects your mobile phone number and a timestamped record of your consent to receive text messages.
When you provide your name and email to the Company and/or Site (for example, by subscribing to our newsletter), your information is stored in Kit.
If you are a customer of the Company, your information is kept unless you request the Company delete it. If you are not a customer but provided your information as part of subscribing to an email list, your information is kept until you are no longer active on the Site or interacting with mailings for a period of six months.
Subscribing to a Company email list on the Site or submitting your email on the Site grants the Company rights to use your data. The Company uses your email to notify you of news, promotions, marketing related information and content updates of the Company’s products and services.
Every email contains a self-service, one-click unsubscribe to manage your list membership or unsubscribe from all future emails.
Your data is never shared with or sold to third parties.
SMS Text Messaging
Intelligink LLC uses Microsoft Teams Phone to exchange SMS text messages with clients and business contacts who prefer text over email or Microsoft Teams. This section describes how we handle information in connection with that service. It supplements, and does not replace, the rest of this privacy statement. The terms governing the service itself are in the SMS Text Messaging section of our Terms & Conditions.
What we collect. Your mobile phone number, the contents of the messages you exchange with us, and a record of your consent to be contacted by text along with any opt-out request you make.
How we use it. We use this information only to transmit your messages, to respond to you, and to honor your messaging preferences. Our text messaging is conversational and person-to-person. We do not use it for marketing, promotional, or bulk messaging, we do not send automated messages other than the STOP, START, and HELP replies that carriers require, and we do not use your mobile number to build advertising audiences or to profile you.
Who it is shared with. Delivering a text message necessarily involves the vendors that carry it — Microsoft, which provides the Teams Phone service, and the mobile carriers and messaging providers that transmit the message to your device. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We reserve the right to disclose information where necessary to satisfy any law, regulation, or governmental request, to avoid liability, or to protect our rights or property.
Opting out. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from an Intelligink number, and you will receive no further messages from that number. The keywords QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL, and UNSUBSCRIBE also opt you out. Reply START to resubscribe, or HELP for support information. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
How long we keep it. Text message conversations are retained in our Microsoft 365 tenant under the same retention rules as our other client communications. A record of an opt-out is retained for as long as we need it to keep honoring that request. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@intelligink.com.

Controlling Your Information
Any time you can request a copy of your information, request changes, or request it be deleted (aka: “right to be forgotten”) by contacting support at support@intelligink.com. If you request to delete your data, you will lose your access to any purchased subscriptions and the refund policy stated in the terms of use applies.
The Company will notify you within 72 hours of learning if your data has been compromised or when learning if a service used to implement the Site notifies the Company of a breach.
Children Age 13 and Under
The Company recognizes the special obligation to protect personally identifiable information obtained from children age 13 and under. AS SUCH, IF YOU ARE 13 YEARS OLD OR YOUNGER, THE COMPANY REQUESTS THAT YOU NOT SUBMIT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THE SITE OR TO THE COMPANY. If the Company discovers that a child age 13 or younger has signed up on the Site or provided us with personally identifiable information, we will delete that child’s identifiable information from our records.
The Company nonetheless encourages parents to go online with their kids. Here are a few tips to help make a child’s online experience safer:
- Teach kids never to give personal information, unless supervised by a parent or responsible adult. This includes name, address, phone, school, etc.
- Know the sites your kids are visiting and which sites are appropriate.
- Look for website privacy policies. Know how your child’s information is treated.

Use of Cookies
Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to an individual’s computer hard drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies make using our Site easier by, among other things, saving your preferences. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can, however, reset your browser to refuse all cookies or indicate when a cookie is being sent. Please consult the technical information relevant to your browser for instructions. If you choose to disable your cookies setting or refuse to accept a cookie, some parts of the Site may not function properly or may be considerably slower.

How Long We Retain Your Data
We retain your data for as long as you are an active customer or subscriber. For users who are no longer active on the Site or interacting with our emails, data is retained for up to six months before being removed. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@intelligink.com.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data
You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Malware/Spyware/Viruses
Neither the Company nor the Site knowingly permit the use of malware, spyware, viruses, and/or other similar types of software.
Links to External Sites
The Company is not responsible for the content or practices of third party websites that may be linked to the Site. The Company is also not responsible for any information that you might share with such linked websites. You should refer to each website’s respective privacy policy and practices prior to disclosing any information.
Choice/Opt-Out
The Site may provide you the opportunity to opt-in to receive communications from us at the point where we request information about you. You always have the option of removing your name from any e-mail list in order to discontinue any such future communications. In order to ensure immediate removal from any list, please follow the specific instructions set forth within the communications you receive from the Company which you no longer wish to receive. If you are unsuccessful in completing the instructions specified in any such communication, please e-mail us at support@intelligink.com, including a copy of the undesired email attached to the request, and state you wish to be removed from the mailing list.
